January 4, 2006 - Wednesday

Kevin finished installing the windows and doors yesterday. All that remains before we can lock the place up is to construct the barn doors for the garage. Kevin said he would begin that project today.

Some information regarding the floor plan was requested. So, here's a picture:)

The pic Kevin sent me is not entirely accurate as far as exact window and door locations, but the general idea is pretty close. (We haven't updated the floor plan file to reflect the changes we've made). The windows in the living area on the front of the house are incorrect, but I moved the door to reflect its location on the house.

Good Evening my dears: Ron, with very little help from me have been working on looking up the strengths of the Insurance Companies for the Drew Street property. It looks reasonable, which has made us suspicious. It turns back the years for me to travel with you on the building of your first home, and thank you so much for making it possible for us to accompany you. 50' x 30' was the original plan, but that quickly changed to 32' x 48' so that the math worked out better. (Ex: T-111 come sin 4' sections, wood is typically 8 or 16 ft, etc)
